In ‘User Settings’, go to ‘Appearance’ then turn off ‘Hardware Acceleration’. As soon as you see it play your discord will reload like it does when you press "ctrl + r". if you've been living under a rock and haven't realized, there is a amazingly annoying GIF going around that crashes your discord client. When GIFs are playing or when you play a video, it lags the chat and scrolling becomes jittery. In my personal experience, it just crashes discord on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, but it also shuts off bluetooth and slows the phone briefly, but on my previous device, an iPhone Xr, it would simply cause the device to restart.
